The 2010 Mercer Index has named Vienna

the best city in the world.

This is the same Mercer that, last year,

announced its top 10 countries

(according to quality of living)

which were:

1) Switzerland, 2) Germany, 3) Austria.

Their city study yielded very similar results,

with Vienna being ranked #1

and 3 German cities (Düsseldorf, Munich and Frankfurt)
ranking in the top 10.

16 of the top 25 cities are European cities.

Unfortunately, no US cities made the cut.

(Personally, I would have nominated Norman or Stillwater,

but whatever.)
