Erlangen Christmas market

Thursday, December 16, 2010

just another Christmas market.
i've been to...quite a few.
many pictures (of other towns' markets)
have yet to be posted.
it was snowing
and freezing when we went.
but so, so worth it.

here i am
holding a piece of bread covered in mustard
(we did not know it was mustard
until i covered the entire piece of bread with it
- thinking it was some kind of jam-
and handed it to emily to try...
..she then proceeded to almost vomit.)

you'd think one would tire
of going to Christmas market after Christmas market
....such is not the case with me.
i don't know how long i'll be living in bavaria
so i'm enjoying every minute of this fairytale land.

Hey Jenni, I just got to your blog through Celeste's and I'm adding you to my reader straight away. I lived in Munich for a year and just seeing that photo of the uni in your header made me happy :) I'm curious, what happened when you went to Spain??

I never get tired of the Christmas Markets! the Glühwein, the festival food, the ice skating... love love love. much to the dismay of my german man who sweetly puts up with my obsession :)

HAhaha that mustard bit in your post reminds me of how I poured butternut squash soup all over my salad bc I thought it was dressing at my pals wedding. :(
