As I've mentioned before, Kayla comes from Seattle which means she loves Starbucks (understatement), so much so that her name and ''Starbucks'' are sononymous in my mind. After the Christkindlsmarkt in Nuremberg, I was too cold to function. We stopped by Starbucks so she could get a chai latte and I sat and ate a cranberry something-or-other (all I know is that it was delicious). I think we spent almost an hour just sitting and avoiding the cold. We braved the cold again just long enough to stop in some stores and shop for a bit before heading home (I am in depserate need of snow boots...haven't found the perfect pair yet...also in not-so-desperate need of brown riding boots....still seeking those as well).Avoiding the crowd by going early was an excellent decision on our part, if I do say so myself. After returning home, we made cupcakes for Lindsay (the video of which can be seen here, of course) and listened to the Enya Christmas CD on repeat (per my request). Kayla brought her iPod with her and her provision of Enya's Christmas fit perfectly with the winter wonderland happening outside my window (Nuremberg wasn't so snowy...but in my village, it looked -and still looks- like Narnia). I might have to buy this CD on iTunes. Listen to this song (one of my favorites) and imagine living in a world that looks like a snow globe.

but i am with you on the riding boots. i absolutely want a pair. my boots are all either too fancy or two out of season to wear anymore. they are at the tippy top of my christmas list.
Starbucks is my absolute favorite thing. Ever. Haha. It sounds like a nice day, despite the cold of course. :)

Love that song! I use to love Starbucks as the creator went to the same college and I went to so we had the only Starbucks on a college campus. However lately Panera's coffee and cocoas have been my favorite!
