Ever since I read about these little treats, I’ve been wanting to make them. I made a couple the other night (using my Alaska blackberry jam) (and served only with chocolate milk, obviously). Suffice it to say, they did not disappoint.

Fun fact: my Polish friends couldn't believe that PB&J is a typical American household staple. What do they feed these kids in Poland, anyway? Come on! They kept remarking that jelly on a sandwich is "too sweet." And that's just fine -- more jelly in the world for me to consume.
That's crazy they don't eat PB&J like us! PB& bananas are amazing though too! I've never had a grilled one but I need to try!
Jen! Bison Witches makes grilled pb&j! We can go get one when youre back in Norman sometime :)
ive had to get used to asking for jam and not jelly at resturaunts. and the fact that they dont pair sweet and salty together..like french toast and bacon. who are these people???
grilled peanut butters are my fav!
:) :) :)
Haha, they don't get it here in Germany either. I have to admit that I have never had a grilled one, but it sounds great!!
Hahaha this post made me so happy. LOVE the idea of grilling these tasty sandwiches.
I've never had a grilled pb&j, but i pretty much love every grilled sandwich i've ever had. will have to try this one...

Yummmmy! Love this :)
Hahaha... I'm trying to answer your last question, hmmm.. What's a Polish comparison to PB&J? Ever had/heard of zapiekanki? I used to eat those ALL the time!
I'd love to have some alaskan bb jam!
Lucky kid. :)

That looks amazing!! I love me some PB&J, or with whipped cinnamon honey, but I've never tried one grilled! Look out dinner, you're sacked! I can't wait to get home.
