you’ve heard me say a million times that europe doesn't know what a milkshake is.
all this time i’ve been forgetting to mention: the european mcdonald’s totally knows what a milkshake is (strawberry, please!). though i can really only speak for germany and austria when i say this…. oh, and these milkshakes don’t taste like a chemical cocktail, if that’s what you’re thinking. such things are illegal here! and for that reason, the euro mcdonald’s blows the american mcdonald’s so far out of the water.
lindsay, here, agrees with me…though she’s always been more of a mcflurry fan herself.
norway mcdonalds milkshakes are better than american ones too LOL! AND...so are the hamburgers...
but that is about the only place to find them. :)
But do you know how dangerous it is to let an European close to something like Steak & Shake ? :) The shakes are so good that you just can't stop drinking until you exploade...!
when my friends went to america for the first time, they told me the shakes at mcdonald's (and the food) tasted SO different! we had no idea until then that you guys put so much fake crap in your food ;)
hah, this is cute. Glad you found a good milkshake in Europe ;)
You always make me want a milkshake. I'm a Dairy Queen milkshke fan, myself. Or Chick fil-a. Or Potbelly's. So many milkshakes, so little time.
They have the BEST milkshakes in DC!!! I have no idea if that is actually true, but I think you would be the best person to say so....
I'm on the brink of moving to a little city outside Prague half to explore the world of being an au pair and half to explore the possibility of romance with a cute slovakian guy i met here in asia and travelled with. I'm not sure why this seems like such a logical plan to me, however, I think your blog (and europe pictures and stories) have had some influence. it might just be your fault.
sounds like some kind of an adventure to me, though.
I have to try McDonalds milkshake then! I loooove McFlurry with M&Ms :)
Mmm! I am craving a strawberry milkshake now! I am definitely making one after work!
If i ever go to Europe, McDonalds is my first stop. LOL
Belly B :)
Haha, i love milkshakes! I'm a big fan of the In&Out ones i gotta say. Mmm..craving that right now.
And the McFlurry flavors are way better over here too... Ritter Sport, Magnum, etc. Way better tham plain old M&Ms. Though while we're on the subject I prefer American M&Ms to their German counterparts.
Im with you all the way on this! Strawberry McDonalds milkshakes in Germany are awesome. They taste a little different in Poland but still good.
SO funny, I thought I'd have to go without things like milkshakes while I'm living in Germany. I can't believe I didn't think about getting one at McDonalds. Silly me! Now I just need to find a substitute for Jamba Juice and I'll be set!
