but where else can you find such a wide variety of anything and everything you’ve ever hoped to eat??

{vietnamese bulgogi, peanut butter brownies, homemade apple pie, homemade ice cream, baked beans with fried okra, homemade “american pie”, homemade caramel corn, cheese bread with marinara, corn on the cob, ribs, spring rolls and pinkberry!!!} {mexican food, for some reason, not pictured...although it is perhaps what i miss MOST while in europe.}

…now do you see why i never wanted to leave?

alex said...: You have to go to Mexico. Mexican food is the best thing ever, and they serve you pretty well, and everything is delicious, and spicy... not American spicy, but Mexican spicy. Just saying.

biscuits are NOT cookies, european peanut butter does NOT taste the same as american peanut butter, vacuum packed corn on the cob is NOT fresh and consumable (sorry im on a freaking roll with this one as of late), i should NOT have to made macaroni and cheese by hand...that is what kraft is for, soda is NOT palatable when warm (ice people! ice!), and water should NEVER have bubbles or fizz in it.

after living in germany for 6 years of my life and now being in norway...i truly can make a FOUNDED judgment and opinion when i say American food is where it is at. and im glad you feel the same.; September 16, 2011 at 2:15 AM

Anonymous said...: couldn't agree more. sure, europe has awesome food (french pastries, spanish tapas, italian cuisine!?) but after studying abroad i have to concur that america is just the best place to eat....you can find SO much in america if you branch out from fast food. and as for the obesity epidemic...i think this blog goes to show that when done in moderation, it can be FINE, am i right?!
