After Oktoberfest, my friend Chris and I took the train to Salzburg,
where I celebrated my 24th birthday. Eva met us there for dinner, which I could not have been happier about.
Best birthday meal ever?
Pumpkin-filled Agnolotti topped with pumpkin seeds & grated Parmesan, served with salad.
It was a great birthday.
Is it weird being 24? Yes.
To quote Jessica Simpson circa 2005,
“24 is so old…it’s almost 25, which is almost mid-twenties”.
In other words, it’s scary.

lol Im 25 and it is a little weird. I still very much so feel 19. and then other times it become VERY clear I am SOOOOO not in my teens anymore.

I am pretty sure Lonna and I had that exact same meal in DC last year when we spent over $100 on our birthday dinner. It was followed by a panicked phone call to her dad about how much our bill was. He told us to live a little. That really doesn't have much to do with your post.

omg that is TOTALLY the best bday dinner ever. And you are completely justified in freaking out a little about 24. It's when you start to kind of forget exactly how old you are, and and start thinking about 25, and how close it is to 30, and how short life is. At least that's what I do ;)
p.s. not that 30 is old at alllll.

I turn 24 in a month and a half! I'm finding it weird. To quote Grease 2 "not weird weird, but exciting weird" (Have you seen it? ha ha). It will be great all the same. Hope you had a good one!
