During Kaitlyn’s and my trip to London, we spent an afternoon at Kensington Palace, where we happily stumbled across what appeared to be a re-creation of Mrs. Lovett’s Meat Shop, a la Sweeney Todd. For two die-hard fans of the Tim Burton adaptation (we do a really mean rendition of ‘God, That’s Good!’, in which Kaitlyn sings the part of Toby and I sing the part of Mrs. Lovett), this was the pleasantest of surprises.
I think a normal person would have taken photos all throughout the grounds, but….this is all I got for now. I’ll be closing out the London recap tomorrow!
Until then, I leave you with one of my favorite songs from the movie as well as another and another and we can’t forget about this one, can we?!
