Photo 1: A day of sight-seeing in London, which included riding the tube all over town (fun fact: my favorite part of riding the tube is reading the newspapers left behind by other passengers! London news is somehow much more interesting that any other kind of news…), shopping at H&M and Top Shop, eating at Burger King twice (what? the UK menu is kind of great), and wearing Birkenstocks, for some reason.
Photo 2: Me, modeling an extremely well-made £3 H&M tank top (the buttons of which came off in my hand about 7 minutes after I left the hotel) in front of Hampton Court Palace.
Photos 3&4: The Tower Bridge, which – contrary to what many people think – is not the London Bridge! This is a minor pet peeve of mine and Kayla’s (we have much stronger feelings about people who mistake the fortress in Salzburg for a castle).
Photo 5: Kaitlyn, pretending to be Cedric Diggory in a maze fit for the Tri-Wizard tournament.
Photo 6: Ready for a night out on the town, which was supposed to include running into Jim Sturgess, Robert Pattinson (speaking of Cedric) and Jason Schwartzman* at the Bank of Friendship (a pub that we discovered when googling things like ‘where do famous people hang out in London’, as if they all congregate at one collective meeting point), and ended with us eating at – you guessed it – Burger King. I would also like to mention that my lifelong dream of taking the Jack the Ripper night tour was not realized during this trip, despite my relentless attempts to persuade Kaitlyn to accompany me. Ahem.
*No, Jason Schwartzman is not English. We just really wanted to run into him, that’s all.

Snaps are awesomesauce, natch. And I LOVE the flared pants with the suspenders, fantabulous!
When Yogi and I go to London this year, I would like to run into Henry Cavill because: HOTTTT.
(Espesh in The Tudors, season 1.)
Some harmless ogling (and dropping of the jaw) would proceed because, well, while I might be happily married I'm not dead. Hee!
the photos are just aaamaaaziiiing!:)
Oh you and your incredible adventures around the planet. I'm sorry you couldn't go on that night tour - next time take me with you and I'll make sure we go. ;)

i just love london. and YES the tower bridge/london bridge thing is a pet peeve of mine too when people mix them up. arghhh.
you look awesome! x
I would LOVE to take the Jack the Ripper tour!
Great pictures!
Ahhh Jenny! Those high-waisted pants are amazing! I love them!
And I just spelled your name wrong - it's okay, you can punch me.
JENNI.
these pics are just amazing! i want to go! :)
LOL I love that she was pretending to be Cedric Diggory. Made me laugh out loud :)
As someone who has taken a Jack the Ripper night tour, I can tell you that I was vastly disappointed. I'm sure it had a lot to do with the tour guide, but I was so disappointed. He spent more time talking about the economy and London real estate than about Jack the Ripper. But he did take us down the street that was used as Diagon Alley. He slightly redeemed himself there.
I love seeing these pictures again. And by the way - - eating at the Burger King by the Jesmond Dene was our favorite meal in London!!!
Question: Are those black pants a recent purchase??
Got them in 2007. My favorite pair of pants to date.
Jenni, wouldn't photo #2 be in front of Hampton Court Palace rather than Kensington? If not, they look amazingly similar.
Yikes, you are correct! I need to change that when I'm not on my phone. Thanks!
I love your use of the asterisk. You're a role model to young girls everywhere!
Wonderful pictures. The joy coming from your smiles makes me think you've had a nice holiday. London is really a spectacular city.
