i tend to be anti-tourist when it comes to sightseeing
but i'm not too cool for the schönbrunn palace.
plus, part of marie antionette was filmed there
(okay, like, 5 seconds of the very beginning)
and even though everyone in the world hates that movie,
i’m a little obsessed (hey, sofia coppola - love ya, girl).
non-instax photos of the schloß
can be found here.
Yo, Iiii didn't hate that movie! So there's two of us!
I loved the movie too and I LOVE your blog!! I'm in Europe now, I have a month left but I never want to leave!! You're living the dream!!!!!
I love that movie!!
I'd definitely whip out my camera for some shots of that..so cool!
Love that movie too! Really cool instax :)
i love instax films - and these are awesome too!!!
I have a story to go along with that movie that I can't say on here because I don't know how many of our old "boyfriends" may read it.
beautiful blog!:) check mine julietspen.blogspot.com
I love that movie too. Every time I watch it I love it more, the first time I saw it I didn't think much of it but the more you watch it the more you notice all the subtleties that Sofia Coppola is so great at capturing. I so badly want to go to Versailles and maybe live there too?! haha. I'll keep dreaming.
loved that movie too, not in a historical kind of way, but the colours and the camera and the therefore great pictures-love pastell maccarons and cupcakes with pretty dresses and shoes always!
didn't see it... think i should. :)
@cecilia, exactly. my friend jenny says it's a movie you could watch on mute and be totally entertained just because of the gorgeous costumes, set design, hair, makeup, etc. and i could not agree more. though i do LOVE the soundtrack.
Schöne Fotos! I've always wanted to watch Marie Antoinette, but I'm pretty sure I am going to love it :)
Marie Antoinette is in my top 5 favorite movies. There is not a thing I don't love about that movie!!
I liked seeing the movie after having been there.

just seeing the title of this post makes me want to start learning German again. I miss having the German words for things pop in my head... and German is just so much fun! Schloss! You know you have fun saying it too...
I actually loved it too! I think Sofia Coppola is insanely talented! <3 These photos are just lovely.

..und ich habe gerade bemerkt, dass ich automatisch den Österreich Fehler begangen habe ("In Austria, the moment your foreigner's accent is detected, the conversation immediately switches to English whether you like it or not") - sorry! Oder Entschuldigung :)
