the last time i saw this part of the wall, i was with pierce in the summer of 2010.
this summer, one year later, i went with lindsay. here are some of my favorite wall pics.
second to last photo: “you have learned what freedom is – never forget it”
last photo: “i enjoy every minutes of my life. i hope you too.”
I had no idea people could write on it and everything. I think that's awesome!
I love it. It's called the East Side Gallery and it's supposedly the largest open air museum in the world....or, if not the world than Europe. I'm not sure which. It streches on and on and I always seem to spend a large portion of the day there when I go.
Would love to see that!!
Wow, these are amazing. That would be so cool to see!!! I love all the history and culture over in Europe, I cannot wait to experience it someday!
Amazing piece of history! Love the "he who wants the world to remain as it is.." quote.
I enjoy every minute(s) too, thank God. Life is far too precious and filled with wonder for one NOT to enjoy.
(Can't wait to visit Berlin one day!)
Aww I'm loving the quote from the last picture, what fabulous sentiments@ xo
oooo I had no idea the wall was that pretty!! makes me want to visit even more now!
p.s i can see why you love europe so much! i'm in europe right now (northern italy and switzerland) and i'm in love even more then i was last summer when i visited!!
wonderful photos!!! when i used to live in germany, i have many photos of my dad in berlin by the wall, but i never made it up that way...it's definitely on my list of cities to visit soon :)
