halloween weekend is 6 weeks away.
i’ll be visiting america again then…
(the only place to be on halloween)
…and i cannot wait.
this was my cousin’s costume last year.
daniel plainview.
isn’t it awesome?
i’ve been sewing my costume*….
and i’m pretty excited about it.
i bet my mom is reading this, thinking,
“my daughter can sew?”.
she doesn’t know i can
because i make her sew everything for me when i’m at home.
my dad can sew, too.
i know this because he once sewed the straps on my barbie’s swimsuit
after they broke off during a really crazy ride in the barbie minivan.
anyway, did i mention halloween is only 6 weeks away?
did i mention i cannot wait?
*sewing my costume = sewing strips of suede onto suspenders. so i guess that means no, mom, your daughter can’t really sew.
Viel Spaß zu Hause :)
I have never celebrated Halloween. Never ever in my entire life. A true European, haha.
By sewing - do you mean with a sewing machine or by hand? Can't wait to see it.
Mom, definitely not a sewing machine...just by hand.
& who are we kidding, you'll probably have to help me with the rest when i'm home!
HALLOWEEN IS MY FAVORITE.
!!!
LOL I can not wait either! I am so pumped up lol.
I want to be the black swan.. a year late? perhaps. but better late and creepy then never huh?
What the heck are you making girl?
That is awesome..I can't really sew either..my mom had to fix a button for me. haha
What are you going to be??
I AM JEALOUSSS...this will be my second halloween in Germany and it's just no fun here!
your sister's costume was so clever! the milkshake is a nice touch. :]
and you're right, there's no place like America on Halloween.
Awwwww, how fun!! Where in the states are you going to be?!
Every Halloween I make these biiiig costume plans..and somehow always end up as Waldo. Hmmph.
Wait a second....that's your cousin, right? Not your sister!
You're gonna have a freakin' BLAST, no doubt! Good luck with finishing the sewing, heh heh. Look forward to reading all about it!
yeah...that is my cousin. my male cousin. not my sister.
Can't wait to see your costume! I'm happy for you, celebrating halloween in America must be awesome! I'm going to a halloween party here in switzerland, but only a few people normalle wear costumes :-( I would LOVE to go as 'slutty pumpkin' (HIMYM) :-D
YES, you CAN sew. You could have very well bought velcro stickers and skipped the sewing, so I'm proud of you ;)
Bahaha I love your cousins costume :] it's fantastic.
this has got to be one of the cleverest costumes i've ever seen.
xoxo jen
your cousin = grant's hero.
Ahhh how exciting that you get to go home again!
P.S. I'll be visiting your neck of the woods [and by that I mean Europe in genearl] this winter!
i cant believe its almost time for you to come back again! i act like i will get to see you. but its still nice to know you are in the US OF A.
