i am considering cutting off 8 inches of my hair for beautiful lengths.
i did locks of love a few years back (and kinda hated it), but that was over 10 inches.
beautiful lengths is 8.
i measured, and if i cut off 8 inches of hair, it will be this length:

i suspect it will make the cnn news ticker pretty soon….

I'm glad I'm not the only one wide awake at this ridiculous hour. And I think you should go for it! That's not too short at all.

yah .. 10 is way too mcuh, 8, totally doable!! :) cutting more than 2 inches is traumatic for me so go you!
haha, well...just to clarify, i asked for 10" to be cut and by the end of it, she had cut off over a foot (this was....2006). it went from waist-length to collarbone-length. not okay!
ok, do it cause clearly your hair has no problem growing back.
fact: everytime I see fencing I think of parent trap too. it's the greatest.
also, I think you will still look haaaaawt without those 8 inches. do it!
I've always wanted to donate hair but...my hair doesn't grow. (That long hair you see on my blog? Extensions).
ohhh id love to see what you look like with shorter hair! im about to cut mine, but only because it is so damaged and the ends just knot up together. im too poor to afford the $100 hair cuts here so my boyfriend is doing it. i think ive lost my mind :)

i love how chopping off your hair still leaves your hair longer than mine. actually, it makes me jealous. i just love your hair. there, i said it.
That's so sweet of you! I know that chopping hair can be scary (I always regret it), but a. you would look beautiful with any length of hair b. I think doing it for a good cause must make it so much less stressful. Can't wait to see what you decide!
