After several people commented on this post, declaring their love for the Alice dress, Shabby Apple emailed me a special offer for you to enjoy, valid today, May 9th, and tomorrow, May 10th only.

The Alice dress is perfect for spring and summer weddings, date nights, church, and standing on tree trunks, apparently. In all seriousness, I love this dress and I’m sure you will too! Use code: MOM at checkout.
The Francine skirt is high-waisted, and there’s a bow; two of my favorite qualities in any skirt or dress. If the Alice dress is a little out of your budget, but you’re still in the mood for a spring/summer wardrobe treat, I’d consider the Francine skirt. Tuck in your top and pair it with a cardi and you’re good to go for work or play.
I think my favorite part of this dress (apart from the military-inspired shoulders) is that the belt can be wrapped around the waist either once or twice – knotted, tied, however you like. Here it is in scarlet and here it is chocolate.
This polka-dot number might be my favorite dress in all the Shabby Apple land. It’s fitted, yet modest; flirty, yet professional; retro, yet timeless. Here it is in white and here it is in charcoal. I can’t decide which color I prefer. Maybe I should order both?
If polka-dots are a little much for you and you’re looking for something more classic and refined, you can’t go wrong with the Malt Shop Dress. The all-white look is a perfect palette for accessorizing, and if I were getting married, I just might consider using it as part of my dress rehearsal ensemble. What do you think about that?
Perhaps I spoke too soon when choosing favorites; the Side Saddle dress takes the cake in my book, I just decided. That Robin’s egg blue/brown color combo is a favorite of mine and those puckered puff sleeves add the perfect touch of feminine daintiness.
Use code: PALMS to get free shipping today (and today only, unfortunately, so move quickly!). Model is seen wearing the City of Angels Top with the Tinsel Town Skirt.

Word to the wise: Shabby Apple dresses fit generously; if you normally wear a size small, order an extra-small…if you normally wear a size medium, order a small…you get the gist. Check out their size chart to double check before you buy, though.
Happy shopping!
